    SEMO Elite places 2nd at Midwest Cheer & Dance Championship

    The Senior Co-Ed Level 3 team competed on Saturday, April 28th 2012 at the Midwest Cheer & Dance Championship.  The competition was held at Six Flags St. Louis.  One of the team members was injured just days before the competition at gymnastics practice and the team had to compete without 1 stunt group.  Our cheerleaders still put on a commanding performance and even without some important stunts, were able to snag 2nd place. This was the final performance of the 2011-2012 season and marked just 6 months of the program's existence.  The 2012-2013 season begins May 7th as the team will be holding tryouts that week.  At this time, the team is scheduled to perform at the following competitions next year: Hoosier Championship - November 2012 Gateway Regional - December 2012 Midwest Championship - January 2013 Cheerlebrity - February 2013 UCA All-Star Nationals - March...

    SEMO Elite debuted in their first competition since the team was formed in November of 2011 on Sunday April 15, 2012.  The team competed as a Senior Co-Ed Level 3 and hit every skill in the routine.  The competition was held at Heartland Gymnastics in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
